The beginning of my journey to become a professional voice artist started with the positive feedback I received from other voice artists and voice coaches. They convinced me that my voice could be my source of expression in productions of many digital genres.

"Use what the good Lord gave you!" That's what one artist said. From that moment, I realized that I could create a career just being who I already am. My voice would be my tool and my source of income. Since that day, a good chunk of my time has been spent looking forward. I took the the word of professionals in the industry and moved forward on their candid advice.

I learned that, aside from my voice, I needed voice recording equipment. So, I started doing research and talking to voice artist professionals about the equipment they use. They all said that the most important thing I could do was purchase high quality voice recording and editing equipment. They made it clear that the quality of the equipment I chose would make or break me in this profession. After hearing what they had to say, I decided to purchase the best quality voice recording and editing equipment I could afford at the time.

I chose the Rode NT 1A Cardioid Condenser Microphone Recording Package. The reviews I read on this system were mostly positive. I purchased my system from Amazon. It arrived quickly. I read through all of the material and watched several videos and within a couple of hours I was recording practice voice demos.

The editing system that comes with this kit is Presonus Audiobox USB. It has some very cool training videos, so after recording my practice voice demos I felt comfortable editing audios that professionals would consider high quality productions.

For the price, I feel like the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone Recording Package is truly worth the price.

Note: My logo was created using the microphone system contained in the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone Recording Package. Yep! That's me in the shadows!
